Prof. Dr. Brian Romberg
Former President

The WSAVA has always supported continuing education in Asia. In 2007 the WSAVA confirmed its support for FASAVA and as one of the official supporters of the upcoming Congress, 2nd FASAVA 2009, we will be assisting with the organization of the Animal Welfare stream. This is an opportunity for the WSAVA to expand and share scientific information and ideas not just with our own members but also to others in the Asia Pacific region and to the whole world.

The World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) is dedicated to providing continuing professional development programmes that are both beneficial to veterinarians and will improve companion animal health and welfare.

As the WSAVA Past President, I am encouraging WSAVA members and all veterinarians to come and attend the 2nd FASAVA 2009 Congress in Bangkok, Thailand on 3rd to 5th of November 2009. This event will you give additional knowledge in to help the welfare of small animals in your region.

North American Veterinary Conference
NAVC
Dr. Don Harris
President
The North Veterinary American Conference (NAVC) exists to provide world class continuing education and up to date information to all members of the veterinary health care team. In the 2nd FASAVA 2009 Congress, this mission will be once again fulfilled by the NAVC team through the presentation of a three-day NAVC track within the main congress program.

It has been noticed that veterinary practices in Asia are increasing, thus, high quality education and training are required for Asian veterinarians to be more effective in their field. The NAVC team is very pleased to be part of this activity by providing you with our high quality scientific programs and highly experienced lecturers.

NAVC is encouraging all concerned veterinarians to join us in this educational and advancing event in Asia Pacific.
