Vietnam - A Rich Travel Destination

Stretching over 1,000 miles from the mountainous Chinese border to the flat Mae Khong Delta, Vietnam is waiting to be rediscovered. Hanoi is one of the most attractive cities in Asia with its broad tree lined boulevards. Highlights include the Temple of Literature, the National Arts Museum and the Old section of the city. Outside Hanoi are some of the region’s finest beaches with pristine sands and sparkling waters. Ho Chi Minh (Saigaon) runs from the west bank of the Saigon river, extending southwest along the Ben Nghe Canal to merge with the Chinese section. Attractions such as the presidential palace, the national museum, the centeral market and the War Museum bring the country’s history to life. The Chu Chi Tunnels 40 kms. Northwest of the city, which are a huge subterranean underworld are well worth a visit.
 
Siem Reap - A Jewel of Indochina

The main attraction of Kampuchea is the ancient Khmer city of Angkor which was built between the 9th and 13th centuries when much of Indochina was under Khmer control. Shrouded in Hindu cosmology represented in stone, many of shrines are tributes to both Hindu and Buddhist deities. The City's most famous temple, the Angkor Wat has been recently restored and has created world wide interest.

Myanmar - A Land of Enthralling Beauty

One of the most exotic countries in the world. Myanmar is timeless and untamed. Surrounded by towering mountains, Myanmar borders with Thailand, Bangladesh, Laos and China with the Bay of Bengal on the south. The capityal of Yangon is a city of old world colonial splendor dotted with magnificent ancient Buddhist pagodas. The National Museum has a fine collection of archeological exhibits and the State School of Music and Drama offers a cultural insight, while the Bogyoke market is bustling and lively.

Laos - The Land of a Million Elephants

One of the last places where Old Asia can be seen, Laos is a mixture of traditional Buddhist culture overlaid with a mixture of French colonialism. The national capital is Vientiane which perched on the banks of the mighty Mae Khong River boasts a number of attractions including river trips, temples, markets, and the Revolutionary meseum. The former royal and religious capital Luang Prabang lies 350 kms north of Vientiene at the junction of the Nam Khan and Mae Khong Rivers. Surrounded by lush hills and valley, the former royal palace and ancient Buddhist caves afford a fascinating insight into the country’s early history.
